York Hospital Radio are embarking upon a new studio development which is going to cost thousands of pounds.  As we are a registered charity, we need to raise all the money in addition to what we need to keep us on air.

York Hospital Radio relies totally on fundraising to keep our station on air.  Some of the events of 2007 were:

* Monk's Cross Shopping Park tombola day

* York Charity Market Day

* YK Soul Fundraising Event

* A Salsa night

* Race Day at York Racecourse

* Bingo nights

Alongside these aspects of fundraising we write letters to local organisations and also receive donations from our kind sponsors, including:

ASDA, Monk's Cross Shopping Park, Newitts.com & York Lions.

We are always looking for new opportunities to raise funds, whether through collections, donations or events.
